First-of-its-kind in India, this post-graduate programme in Critical Dance Practice is being implemented by Gati Dance Forum in collaboration with a university based in New Delhi. With its integrative curriculum that includes physical training, choreography, critical thinking and inter-disciplinary studies, the programme will equip its participants to redefine and rearticulate the boundaries of dance practice as performers, creators, researchers, pedagogues or managers through a critical engagement with the embodied cultures and the evolving dance ecology of the Indian subcontinent.

The first phase of curriculum research and development for the programme was carried out between October 2013 to December 2015 in partnership with British Council and with the support of Royal Norwegian Embassy. This masters programme is slated to be launched in August 2017 in collaboration with a university in Delhi. The course will be officially announced in May 2017.
